Changes in men's skin with the arrival of warm weather

Cambios en la piel del hombre con la llegada del calor

With the arrival of spring, we have more hours of daylight and temperatures rise, increasing sweating and sebum production.

In men's skin, which is oilier and thicker than women's skin, excess sweat mixes with sebum and clogs pores more easily, especially in some areas such as the forehead or back, for example. Also, facial hair traps sweat and pollution.

As at other times of the year, it is important to hydrate, regenerate, repair, and protect men's facial skin to counteract the signs of skin aging and achieve younger-looking skin, but without the typical shine from sweat and excess sebum. For this, it is important that this action is done with products designed for men's skin; with the necessary active ingredients and concentrations, that are light, non-greasy, and quickly absorbed.

Furthermore, shaving, combined with increased sweating and sun exposure, can more easily lead to redness, inflammation, and folliculitis. This can be avoided by using an appropriate aftershave product.

The essentials:

1.-Daily facial cleansing to remove excess oil, sweat, pollution, etc.

2.-Provide active ingredients in the form of a light cream that hydrates, protects, repairs, and regenerates the skin, with light, fast-absorbing textures that do not clog pores.

3.-Daily sun protection with light, non-greasy products that do not clog pores.

4.-When shaving, use alcohol-free products that soothe, regenerate, hydrate, and protect the skin barrier.

All this accompanied by a healthy diet and a generous intake of water.
